We’ve been previewing some of the ideas to be presented at next week’s Best Ideas 2017 conference here in recent days. We’ve done so in order to highlight the quality of the instructors and their research-based investment theses. We’ve randomly chosen and previewed the following ideas from about 40 ideas to be presented at the conference: QVC, Luxottica, PAR Technology, Dell Technologies Class V, and Owens-Illinois. Additional idea previews are available to registered participants.
Best Ideas 2017 is our biggest fully online conference yet, with approximately forty (!) carefully chosen instructors sharing their best value investment ideas. The roster of instructors includes numerous seasoned veterans, such as Amit Wadhwaney, David Rolfe, Peter Lupoff, John Lewis, Chris Crawford, Chris Karlin, Jim Roumell, and Stephen Yacktman. It also includes emerging value-oriented managers whose investment approach and depth of fundamental work have impressed us. Those up-and-coming managers seek out ideas that are either too small, too esoteric, or too contrarian for large institutions to pursue. Often, such ideas turn out to be the biggest long-term winners.
I am grateful that such a large and respected group of instructors will be sharing its wisdom and ideas at Best Ideas 2017 next week.
Where does the conference take place? Online, of course! There is no physical location. For those who have yet to experience a fully online investment conference, Best Ideas 2017 offers a perfect opportunity to do so. Experience the ease and convenience of uncovering more than three dozen compelling ideas from the comfort of your home or office. The event takes place LIVE online on January 10-11. In addition, you will have six months of access to all session materials and replays, enabling you to keep researching great ideas for months to come.
What’s more, we are pleased to introduce registered participants to any of the instructors for questions and further engagement. As such, we happily facilitate valuable connections in a way that is simply not feasible at large offline events.
